The following champions are available for co-ownership; you can see them under "Champions"; Bogie, Houston, and Daphne. These dogs are trained and are great family dogs. We will keep breeding rights to the males and would make other arrangements for Daphne, if we decide to sell her. Because of Dina's age we would like to place her in a good home, no money involved. She a good house dog, very friendly, a champion and has at least 7 to 9 years ahead of her. She is current with all innoculations.

The following young dogs and bitches are available for sale and/or placement: Espresso, Zambia, Otto, King and Susie. All these dogs have tremendous drive and would make fine hunters; Susie we would place with a possible restricted registration.

All these dogs would be either sold or placed (little or no fee involved). The champions to be used for breeding will have a co-ownership with a small fee.

We plan on selective breeding as soon as we are able hopefully this year. We still plan to breed Ramona and Houston when she comes in season. See "Up coming breedings"

We will be breeding only one litter, Ramona and Houston.Breeding did not take! this house. We plan to stay in the area, only with less than 5 acres, I'd like 2 or 3! The acreage here is beautiful, but a lot of work. As soon as we sell, we will be breeding the following girls: Daphne( if she is still with us), Dallas, Coco, Sadie, MaryLu and Indy. In October we will have another Lauren litter: these babies will be ready for Christmas! So watch this sight for information.

CH Xanadu Maltese Falcon Decoy, Bogie, Co-ownership only

Bogie, born 11/05, is an American Champion. He is a sweet, happy male that will do anything you ask of him. He has produced 3 beautiful litters and has been a special in the show ring. He is good with adults and children and is non dog aggressive. He would make an excellent addition to a breeding program. At 14 months, he had preliminary x-rays of his hips and will probably be OFA excellent, his CERF is normal. Bogie has an excellent pedigree and could easily be trained to hunt. Bogie is crate and lead trained and is good in the house. This special dog will only be sold to a special person or family. CH Xanadu Ravin' Houston (co-ownership only)

Houston acquired his championship with a 5 point major in San Antonio 3/10/06. Houston has turned into a very substantial dog. He has a great disposition, very laid back.

Houston is out of CH Xanadu Ruby's Ripley Believe It and CH Flying "B" Jumping Jack JH. This mating produced beautiful, sound dogs with great hunting abilities. Houston has a large deep chest and wonderful hind quarters. He's got a thick, dense coat.

Houston is medium reddish brown in color, weighs about 80 pounds and is about 25" at the withers. Born August, 2004, he will only get better.

Houston is also sire to our first all Xanadu litter with Ramona. He will start on his championship career in April. We expect good things from Houston.

Houston was awarded a Costa Rican championship in the early summer, 2006. Then in November, 2006, he got his Mexican championship and Pan American championship and needs only one more leg for his International Championship.

Duke finish his championship in San Antonio at our specialty, July, 2009.

Duke is out of Houston and Ramona. He is OFA excellent, has a clear CERF and is a started hunter. He has a wonderful disposition and loves everybody. Duke is a big boy, our biggest male. We see him as a special and are excited to see what he produces as a stud.

Duke was born 3/06 and is a young male that will only get better.

CH Xanadu Daphne Forest Nymph (Possible co-ownership)

Daphne is a beautiful female, 24" tall and 68 pounds, the top of standard. She is well muscled and has the correct proportions. She would make and excellent brood bitch and could continue to be a special. She is very sweet, has a lot of drive and is a lot of fun. She's good with people; adults and children alike. CH Xanadu Just Wingin' It Dina

Dina is a sweet and loving dog, good with children and would make a wonderful addition to any family. She has had 2 litters and produced lovely pups, but is a nervous mom, so her pups were hand fed. We will not breed her anymore, we lose too much sleep feeding pups. Dina is good with other dogs and is a good retriever. She is a good house dog and only barks when someone is around who she doesn't know. Dina is 6 and had many good years ahead of her. She is a rare coloration: dark brown with tan points. Ripley/Oz litter three young males available, born 6/3/07.

These were taken 2/28/10, at almost 2 1/2 +... They are definitely a lookers! Espresso is in the 80 to 85 pound range. Espresso has bodied out to be a great specimen. An exceptional breeding, could easily be a show dog but has great drive and would make an exceptional hunter. He is dark brown in color and like his mother could produce rainbow litters if studded.

Espresso, show Espresso will look just like his dad, OZ (see him under champions). At 3 years, he has great legs, and in the next couple months he will reach his optimum size and shape. Some males are late bloomers, like Espresso. Call for more information; 281-794-7878.

We also have his brother Zambia for sale. He has kept it together a bit better and is lighter brown then Espresso. Zambia expected to be a show dog, but would be as good of a hunter as his brothers. Both of these dogs are beauties. This guy needs some training, but is sweet and happy. Zambia is about 3 years old. Take advantage of their sale prices. Photos taken 2/28/10.

Zanadu Some Like it Hot, "Java" is show trained and is available for co-ownership only. He is a very sweet dog, loves kids and could make a fine hunter/companion dog. Java is also crate trained and housebroken. This is a real deal, most of the work is done. Java has already shown, is ready for hunt training, agility or what ever you want. He was the pick of the litter, but as I said before, I have too many dogs and need to reduce my inventory ASAP. Xanadu Knight of the Mystic Sea, "King", is an 20 month old male ready to train for hunting, but also has championship points. King is out of the Dina/Barnes litter, born 9/08. Barnes, the sire, is a large, muscular male trained to perfection as a hunter. Barnes is OFA excellent. Dina produces beautiful pups, but is not the best mom. She will be placed next month with a friend. King should follow in his father's steps. He is still young, but when he reaches maturity, he should weigh between 85 and 90 pounds; not quite as big as "dad". Young dogs still available!

I have several young dogs that I would like to find good homes. These are all males; 5 in the 2 to 3 year category and a couple studs that are champions. 4 years old; one that is 5. Give me a call and we can talk price. If you are the right family, I'll make you a good deal. All are beautiful dogs. At 2 1/2 years

Otto, show quality, also from the Dina/Bogie, born late 3/07, litter is available. He is so unusual in color and markings, that we would like to have breeding rights to him. He is sedge, really a beautiful orange- red with tan points( you can hardly see the points being sedge), and built like a tank. Otto is excellent on a lead and is house broken, very laid back. A wonderful "anything" dog. He has been shown and would make someone a great companion, hunt, show dog; he's got it all! Otto does have seasonal allergies around his eyes, but Benadryl does a good job. Call for more details; 281-794-7878

Susie is Otto's sister. She is a warm light brown with a lovely coat. She would make a wonderful companion or hunt dog. She's smart and witty; sometimes a little too much! Susie is 3, sound and very sweet. She is crate and lead trained. We had Susie x-rayed and her hips are not the quality we like to use for breeders: she would probably be OFA fair. We like to breed OFA good or excellent. However, if she were bred with an OFA excellent, this would also work. Susie will be sold with a possible limited registration. Her hips are such that she will lead a normal life and pretty much do whatever the new owner wants. This will not impair her ability to run, retrieve, etc. Susie is a very compact chessie, but still in the standard. Susie, loke her brother Otto, has seasonal allergies around her eyes, but is controlled with benadryl. Because of this information, she will make someone a great dog. Freya is a 20 month female out of Barnes, a wonderful hunt dog from Dallas, OFA excellent, and Dina, our brown with tan point girl. Freya id out of coat, but you can still see she carries a really respectful coat in the summer. As a young bitch, she has some filling out to do. She has a great temperament, is crate trained and house broken. She was pick of the litter. She has a beautiful soft golden red coat; some may call her light brown, some even dead grass. I registered her as sedge. As I said she a tall girl, probably about 27" at the withers. Once she fills out, she will be a bitch to recon' with. She is happy and in not dog aggressive. She's great with kids as well as adults. She could easily go in the show ring, but would be a fabulous hunter. Sadie is the last of Ivy's last litter. I planned on keeping her, but to the right family, I may be encouraged to sell her. I had preliminary x-rays done on her hips at 14 months; they will be at least good if not excellent. Her mother is Ivy, father is Bogie, both champions that have proved their value as good specimens of the breed. Sadie could easy be a conformation dog or in the field; even agility would suit her size and quickness. She definitely loves to be loved.Sadie is out of coat but still carries those waves. Her tail is a bit naked, but that will come back is a month or so. Sadie is about 32 months, loves people, loves kids, very laid back and as sweet as sugar. She is med to darkish brown with red high lights. Her body is in the middle of maturing. While she is not a huge dog, she is about 23 1/2" at the withers and weighs about 63 pounds. She will probably body out at about 65,
